Policies & Fine Print

Please order sufficient amounts. Dye lots can be difficult to match. Please call for advice on amount needed if you’re unsure. I have several patterns I would be happy to recommend. Custom orders/colors are fine, very welcome even, but take longer. Please be patient ! Hand dyed yarns are more time consuming to produce.

Limited Availability

We don’t always have every shade of every color in every fiber available at all times. We will contact you if we can’t fill your order and let you know what is on hand. Then you can choose to order other selections or wait until your original order can be dyed.

This could take awhile…like a month or even more depending on where your choice is in the dye studio lineup.

We hope you feel, as many do, that our colors are unique and well worth waiting for.

Return Policy

You may return any unused skeins of yarn any time for credit only (not refunds), with the exception of custom orders & certain sale yarns which may not be returned. This is to encourage you to buy enough yarn initially to complete your project. We appreciate you considering our yarns. Please let us know of any ideas that would help improve our service and/or products. Please call with any questions you may have!

Mixing Skeins

Mixing skeins - To minimize noticeable differences when using slightly different hand-dyed yarn skeins, alternate them throughout your project. This technique involves working with two skeins at a time, switching between them every few rows or rounds. I like to alternate after 2 rows when knitting back & forth so that the yarns can be carried up the side without cutting them. This method helps blend the subtle color variations, making them less obvious than if you used one skein for a large portion of the project.
