TESS’ DESIGNER YARNS began as Pigeon Hill Farm over 40 years ago. We had many beautiful Romney sheep with long lustrous fleeces on our ocean-front farm. With the arrival of my daughter Tess in 1986, there wasn’t enough time & energy for everyone. Somebody had to go and it wasn’t going to be Tess! So I traded my ewes for TONS of fleeces and my rams went on an extended working vacation. Tess has modeled for our ads & at shows across the country. I manage the retail shop with dyeing and fulfilling orders while Tess travels the country doing the shows. She also keeps us advised on current fashion and color trends.
